One who pleads another’s cause. Jesus Christ is the Advocate with the Father, on behalf of the righteous (1 Jn. 2:1; Moro. 7:28; D&C 45:3–5; 110:4). See also Atonement; Christ.
I am the first and the last; I am he who liveth, I am he who was slain; I am your advocate with the Father.

The Savior Understands Me
My declaration is, no one call fall lower than the light of Christ shines. That's impossible.
Let’s try this. Tonight, before you pray, imagine Jesus Christ close by. He is your Advocate with the Father. Ask yourself, “What would my Savior say to the Father about me?”
“For he hath answered the ends of the law, and he claimeth all those who have faith in him; and they who have faith in him will cleave unto every good thing; wherefore he advocateth the cause of the children of men.”

The Savior’s only desire, His only purpose from the very beginning, was to do the will of the Father. The will of the Father was for Him to assist in “[bringing] to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” by becoming our “advocate with the Father.”
